We are delighted to announce that this year’s Run for Recovery event will offer both in-person and virtual options.

The race will still feature the traditional 5K Run and 2-mile walk, based at Bartlett’s Farm with the run/walk being on the usual Land Bank routes, or your choice for a virtual walk or run.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Darcie Evans who has spearheaded the race, through Nantucket Rising. Darcie has decided to hand the event over to us and is stepping down. Since the beginning of Run for Recovery, Darcie has always given the proceeds to Addiction Solutions of Nantucket (ASN). We cannot thank her enough for all the work she has done to support us.

Since ASN is the beneficiary of this great fall race, we, as a Board, have decided to take over responsibility for the race. We are lucky to have Darcie for consultation, and we are very thankful to have many of her support staff stay on and help us with the race. Danielle O’Dell, Jim Meehan, David Schultz, Jim Congdon, and Marsha Kotolac to name a few.

The race was held Sunday, September 25th, starting from and ending at Bartlett’s Farm.

Our goal this year is to raise $50,000.00 that supports the mission of Addiction Solutions of Nantucket.  Here is how you can help:  For next year Become a sponsor, donate, sign up as a runner or sign up as a walker.  Share with all your friends, and maybe create some teams!
